If this EPSON Advanced Printer Driver for BA/EU Series will be installed on the 
same PC with another printer driver or EPSON Printer Window2! for an EPSON 
terminal printer (page printer, ink jet printer, etc),  you must install or 
uninstall these drivers in order shown below:

1. About this software
This package includes the following two software programs to use with an EPSON 
BA/EU series printer.

1) Windows Printer Driver
This driver is a Windows Printer Driver for the BA/EU printer. This driver makes 
it possible to print from a Windows application.

2) StatusAPI
StatusAPI is a program that works in conjunction with the BA/EU printer driver.  
It offers an Application Program Interface for obtaining the printer status 
whether or not the printer is printing.  This API makes integrating printer
status handling functions with applications more simple.

The driver operation has been verified with the following operating systems. 

	Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional SP4 English
	Microsoft Windows XP Professional SP2 English
	Microsoft Windows XP Embedded SP1

This driver is not supported by Windows 95/98.

2. Supplied Files

3. Remarks
- For detailed information, please read each manual that is created by the 
  installation.
- With the USB interface, see the following document.

3.Modification from the old version
  Ver3.04
    - Added the function to save the top margin.
    - The problem that memory usage increases when printing is corrected.
    - The problem that the spooler service stops when printing the device fonts
       and graphics by mixture is corrected.
    - The problem that CPU utiliazation increases when the printer is turned off 
       with parallel interface connected is corrected.
    - The problem that a part of a bottom line is not printed when LF transmission
       of character "6" of the CONTROL fonts is executed is corrected.
    - The print starting time is shortened.
    - The problem that abnormal termination occurs in the log setting tool is corrected.
    - The problem, that print result is not normal if the printer is connected with the UB-E02
       and printing is executed from multiple computers at the same time, is corrected.

  Ver3.01f
    - Supported for the BA-T500 Ethernet.
    - The problem that the spooler might not operate while printing is corrected.
    - The problem that the "Print Success" is notified when the power of the printer 
       is turned on when connecting with USB is corrected.
    - The problem that the broken line of one dot in width cannot be printed is 
       corrected.
    - The problem that communication with the printer cannot recover 
       after inserting/removing a USB cable during printing is corrected.
    - The problem that the printer with a USB cable cannot recover by 
       using BiCancelError when a recoverable error occurrs is corrected. 
    - The problem that this software sometimes cannot be uninstalled 
       with Windows XP SP2 is corrected.
  Ver3.01b
    - Supported for the EU-T400 USB.
    - Supported printer fonts and sizes in points appear in the font tab of the properties.
    - The log setting tool can be started from the utility tab of the properties.
    - The installed package version is shown in the version tab of the properties.
